I know I said in my 'Life updates' post that I would be posting more regularly and I really intended on doing that but then I did not plan on my wee boy arriving so late. Even though this gave me more time and I should probably have used this to write some posts to cover my leave, it also made me irritable and very fed up, so not exactly the prime conditions for blogging.
So it's now the 20th July and around 12 weeks since my last blog post. My beautiful boy is nearly 9 weeks old and growing so quickly before my eyes, it almost makes me sad. My husband, dog and I have just about adjusted to parent/sibling-hood and enjoying each day as it comes. It has certainly not been an easy transition, as any parent will tell you, but waking up to a sweet little baby every day makes it all worthwhile.
I am still very much committed to creating content for both my blog and my website, however the schedule that I so desperately wanted to stick to, is just not realistic anymore. I will continue to post as and when I can, but I simply cannot promise when this will be. My next post is already in the works and will be about my labour & delivery (no surprises there!) So watch out for that one coming soon.
